Pan Bazaar
Pan (pronounced “paan”) is a traditional Indian, after-dinner mouth-freshener. Pan Bazaar offer freshly prepared pan, served from a pop up stall at Indian events, such as weddings and reception parties. To stand out at bright, colourful events, Pan Bazaar required a logo that was bold and vivid for their signage and pop-up stand. They wanted a design that was reminiscent of the street cart stands in India, and they wanted this design to pay homage to Bollywood’s classic pan-themed song, ‘Khaike Pan Banareswala’. Thus, the logo design for Pan Bazaar features Bollywood actor and legend Amitabh Bachan, who performed this song in the 1970’s classic movie Don.
